Hi, I’m Misha

I love helping people, and building software is the way I know best.

I started programming as a kid, first in BASIC, then in C. I’ve been curious about how software works ever since. C still has a special place in my heart.

Over the past 15+ years, I’ve worked on backend services, websites, mobile apps, and connected devices. These days I’m at Yandex Practicum, building AI tools for support and education and helping engineers use them in their everyday work. Before that, I worked on Alice at Yandex and on mobile products and developer tools at Hiya.

I like being involved from the first conversation about a problem through to the code that solves it. Sometimes that means working out the architecture or coordinating several teams; sometimes it means sitting down and fixing a small, stubborn detail. Helping colleagues learn and find their way through a problem is a part of the job I enjoy, too.
